Biography
Fernando Flores is a distinguished legal professional with a comprehensive background in employment, personal injury, and immigration law. Holding a J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law and a B.A. from UC Berkeley, Fernando brings a wealth of experience and expertise as a Partner at Vicuna Law.
Fernando has successfully represented clients in employment law in both state and federal courts, contributing to significant legal precedents, in the California Supreme Court and Appellate Courts. As a trial attorney for the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, Fernando developed a deep expertise of California’s wage and hour protections. Notably, Fernando has handled complex wage and hour class action cases, as well as discrimination, harassment, and retaliation matters.
Fernando built an expertise in handling workplace investigations in English and Spanish. He has been the lead investigator in over 150+ workplace investigations globally.
Fernando successfully represented clients in personal injury cases across California. These included car accidents, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, premises liability, as well as other related injuries. Fernando understands that clients rely on the firm when they suffer an injury to protect their legal interests and secure the compensation they deserve. As a trial attorney, he is committed to building the strongest case possible for his clients.
Fernando has effectively represented clients in asylum and U-Visa cases and is fluent in Spanish, which allows him to be culturally competent to the needs of his clients who need immigration law advocacy.
